Harvey is a 1944 play by Mary Chase. The storyline revolves around Elwood P. Dowd who claims to have an imaginary friend named Harvey (a six foot tall rabbit). Elwood's sister tries to have him committed to a sanitarium because of his delusions but in the end accepts his eccentric behavior.

The conceptual imagery on this poster was inspired by Rorschach tests because they have such a strong connection to psychological interpretation. I wanted to allude to some of the main elements of the play without giving too much away. Thus, the ink blots in the shape of a rabbit.
